What you will do
- Lead installation inside customer data centers and private VPCs, including air-gapped clusters with egress deny-all and offline license keys.
- Plan the ingest: PDS exports, Endevor stages, Git repositories, DB2 catalogs, and the copybook libraries nobody remembered.
- Run readouts with enterprise architects and business analysts, and explain where the engine flagged paths for review and why.
- Feed parser gaps and dialect quirks back to Language Engineering with minimal reproductions that contain no customer code.
- Support systems integrator partners on co-delivered discovery phases.
What we are looking for
- 8+ years on legacy enterprise systems: z/OS COBOL and CICS, or large Java EE estates, including production support.
- Ability to read JCL, follow a batch schedule and explain a CICS pseudo-conversational flow on a whiteboard.
- Kubernetes and Helm fluency sufficient to install and troubleshoot a multi-pod deployment without internet access.
- Willingness to travel to customer sites in India and abroad for one to two weeks at a time.
Nice to have
- Systems integrator delivery background on modernization programs.
- Experience presenting to bank or insurer architecture review boards.
- IMS DB or VSAM-heavy application experience.
