PYD ENTERPRISES

About PYD ENTERPRISES

We started PYD ENTERPRISES because discovery was a slide deck.

Modernization programs fail long before anyone writes new code: in the months spent guessing what the old code does. We build the compiler-grade tooling that answers that question with evidence.

DISCOVERY PHASE · ONE CORE SYSTEM

PYD ENTERPRISES figures
Manual code reading~9 months

Consultants, interviews, spreadsheets. $0.40 to $0.75 per LOC in PYD ENTERPRISES engagement benchmarks.

PYD ENTERPRISES Discovery Scan~3 weeks

Parse, extract, then analysts review rules beside source lines.

Origin

Founded in Mumbai, 2026.

Modernization discovery has run the same way for decades. On a core banking bid, a fixed-price build estimate is priced from a discovery phase where consultants read COBOL by hand, interview the two people left who remember the batch schedule, and write specifications into documents that are stale before the build starts.

The code itself can answer most of the questions those consultants ask, if something parses it properly: resolves every copybook, lays out every REDEFINES byte by byte, follows every PERFORM THRU and CICS XCTL. The founding engineers spent 2025 building exactly that, starting with an IBM Enterprise COBOL front end.

Sahil Saxena founded PYD ENTERPRISES PRIVATE LIMITED in Mumbai in 2026 around a narrow thesis. Discovery should be an engineering artifact, not a slide deck. A modernization team should be able to point at any business rule in its specification and see the exact source lines it came from, and the people who own that logic should sign it off before anyone builds against it.

That thesis also set what PYD ENTERPRISES does not do. It does not translate COBOL into Java line by line, and it does not write the target system. It extracts specifications, decision tables, contracts and equivalence tests so engineers can build clean services with evidence in hand.

Operating principles

Six rules we build by.

Deterministic first

Parse, resolve and trace before anything is classified. A language model, if a customer enables one, only names rules the engine already found.

Every rule cites its source

Each DMN row, schema property and test fixture carries the file and line range it came from. No citation, no export.

Your code stays yours

We build for egress deny-all from day one. PYD ENTERPRISES never receives customer source, and nothing is used to train a model.

Open standards out

OpenAPI 3.1, DMN 1.5, JSON Schema 2020-12, AsyncAPI 2.6. If you stop paying us, every artifact still opens in other tools.

Humans sign off

Extracted specifications are reviewed by the people who own the business logic. The sign-off view puts each rule beside its source lines.

Say what we do not know

Every executable path is accounted for: extracted as a rule, classified as plumbing, or flagged for review. We never round a gap up to coverage.

Milestones

One parser at a time.

Customer deployments are listed by descriptor only. We do not name customers without written permission.

  1. Jul 2025

    First COBOL front end

Before incorporation, the founding engineers build an IBM Enterprise COBOL parser with copybook expansion, COPY REPLACING and byte-accurate REDEFINES and COMP-3 storage layouts.

  2. 2026

    PYD ENTERPRISES PRIVATE LIMITED incorporated

Sahil Saxena incorporates the company in Mumbai (CIN U47890MH2026PTC466054) and the founding engineers join full time.

  3. Feb 2026

    SOC 2 Type I

Design of controls attested by an independent CPA firm, ahead of the first regulated customer deployment.

  4. Mar 2026

    First air-gapped bank deployment

A Tier 2 commercial bank runs a Discovery Scan on a cluster with no internet route, using offline license keys and signed images moved on approved media.

  5. Mar 2026

    Java EE and .NET parsers

EJB 2.x and 3.x, Struts 1 and 2, Spring XML and SOAP/WSDL, followed by VB6, ASP.NET WebForms and WCF front ends on the same symbol graph.

  6. Apr 2026

    ISO/IEC 27001 certification

Information security management system certified for engineering, support and the license service.

  7. Jun 2026

    DMN 1.5 exporter

Decision tables exported as DMN 1.5 XML with hit policies matched to legacy branch order and FEEL expressions that keep decimal precision.

  8. Aug 2026

    SOC 2 Type II

Operating effectiveness of controls attested over a six-month observation period. Report available under NDA.

  9. Sep 2026

    Global SI Partner program

Multi-client licensing, white-label discovery reports and partner enablement sandboxes for systems integrator practices.
